At Intelligence Assist, our mission is to help small businesses unlock the power of AI by matching their needs with the right tools. When it comes to video production, we’ve tried many different AI video editors, but Veed.io has emerged as our top choice. In this post, I’ll review Veed’s key AI and non-AI features and share my honest opinion on why it’s the best option for small businesses looking to create professional videos easily and efficiently.
This post was written by Kate Tabalba in collaboration with Perplexity & Claude 3 Opus.
1. Eye Focus Correction: Veed’s AI-powered eye focus correction ensures that the subject maintains eye contact with the camera, creating a more engaging and professional video.
In my opinion, the effect is almost too real – you would only notice it was corrected if you saw the original footage. But for viewers only seeing the corrected version, it looks completely natural.
2. Automatic Subtitles: Veed uses AI to automatically generate accurate subtitles for your videos, making them more accessible and easier to follow.
In my experience, the auto-subtitles are about 80-90% accurate, which is quite good considering it occasionally gets things like name spelling wrong. However, it’s very easy to fix up any errors.
3. Voice Cloning: With Veed’s voice cloning technology, you can create voiceovers that sound just like you, saving time and effort.
I wish there was an option to select a tone for the cloned voice, as you can for the pre-built voices. I have used better voice clone tools in that regard.
4. Start with AI: Veed’s “Start with AI” feature allows you to generate a video from just a text prompt, making video creation a breeze. This is the best feature, especially if you don’t quite know what you want to say or show.
I recommend everyone give this a try. While you may not use the generated video as-is, it often unblocks me creatively or gives me ideas I wouldn’t have thought of. It’s also very easy to change parts of the AI-generated video that you don’t like.
Here’s a sample video we generated on VEED:
5. AI Avatars: Veed’s AI avatars let you create talking head videos without the need for a camera or presenter. This is the weakest feature if you are not in the USA. We produce videos for Australian audiences and there just aren’t enough avatar options. We use HeyGen for AI Avatars instead.
The Best Non-AI Features
1. Teleprompter: Veed’s built-in teleprompter makes it easy to record yourself speaking without memorizing a script. This is much easier to use as you have the entire script on screen. The end result looks really natural, especially when combined with the eye focus feature. It requires far fewer takes to get right compared to not using a teleprompter.
The Future of AI Video: Small Business
As AI continues to advance, we can expect even more powerful tools for video creation. OpenAI’s Sora and Google’s Veo, while not yet publicly available, promise to revolutionize the way we create videos with AI.
These tools will likely offer even more advanced features and capabilities, making professional-quality video production accessible to businesses of all sizes.
In my opinion
Veed.io is the best AI video editor we’ve found for small businesses. Its combination of powerful AI features and useful non-AI tools make it an all-in-one solution for creating engaging, Small Business
professional videos quickly and easily. As AI video technology continues to evolve, we’re excited to see how tools like Veed, Sora, and Veo will shape the future of video production.
